Smart Park North-West Regional Alliance (SPark)

SPark is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation among business support infrastructures in the region and accelerating innovation-driven economic development.

SPark represents a regional collaboration platform that brings together the administrators and founders of smart specialization, industrial, logistics, scientific, and technological parks in the North-West Region.

The initiative aims to create a functional ecosystem that supports the development of local companies, from idea and innovation to investment and international expansion.

Through this initiative, the industrial, scientific and technological, logistics, and smart specialization parks in the region seek to adopt a common approach in key areas such as financing, infrastructure development, and the stimulation of innovation. Clustering these business support infrastructures has the potential to amplify the regional economic impact and increase the attractiveness of the North-West Region for investment.

Activity

The Alliance’s activity will be structured around four main strategic pillars:

  • facilitating access to financing for the development of parks and their resident companies;

  • stimulating investment and attracting new economic projects to the region;

  • improving connectivity between parks, companies, and regional infrastructure;

  • supporting the internationalization of companies within the parks and integrating them into global value chains.
