After five months of intensive work, 7 workshops, 29 experts, and over 70 hours of mentorship and consulting, the 6 most promising health and life sciences startups graduated from the LevelUP Accelerator. The program concluded with Demo Day on February 27 in Cluj-Napoca, where teams pitched their solutions to a panel of judges, including investors, private clinic representatives, doctors, and business experts. The audience also had a say, voting for the most promising solution.
Meet the Winners
Argus AI, represented by Vladimir Verbulskii, captivated the jury with a VR demonstration showcasing a surgeon’s view during a neurosurgery procedure. Their solution integrates MRI/CT scans into VR headsets, allowing surgeons to visualize critical structures like tumors or blood vessels and better prepare for complex surgeries. The Argus AI team has participated in two accelerators in Moldova and even attended a live surgery to refine their technology.
Neurocare, led by Florin Leu and Vladimir Plotean, won the audience award with a solution designed for caregivers of dementia patients. Their technology continuously monitors vital signs, activity, sleep quality, and fall risk, enhancing patient safety. Caregivers receive real-time alerts and AI-powered assistance, while doctors gain access to detailed patient data for better management and care.
