In today's interconnected world, the global marketplace offers unprecedented opportunities for start-ups to expand their reach and tap into new markets. Internationalization is the key to unlocking a world of possibilities and accessing a broader customer base. Our founders have some incredible solutions that have the potential to expand in the international market, that’s why, for the fifth acceleration meeting, we invited a special guest that can help them achieve these dreams. Meet Montse Daban Marín, a true trailblazer in the European health space. She's coming to our acceleration meeting this Thursday, exclusively for our LevelUP Accelerator start-ups. Our team learnt a lot from Montse during the EIT DRIVE programme we attended last year and now she is here to teach our start-ups! As the Director of Science Policy & Internationalization at Biocat, BioRegion of Catalonia, and President of the Council of European BioRegions - CEBR, Montse brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in navigating the challenges and regulations within the European health industry. She is also an esteemed EIT Health InnoStars Expert and Mentor. Núria Martí, Director of Innovation and Business Development at Biocat will also be joining us as part of the expert jury. Her valuable insights and feedback are certain to inspire our start-ups to think beyond borders and explore new horizons. Last year, a team from RDA North-West participated in a series of international meetings all over the EU as part of the EIT Health DRIVE programme with the purpose of seeing how very perfomant health ecosystems do it. Among the examples of best practices that our colleagues have encountered is Biocat, BioRegion of Catalonia, which has a strong presence in the European innovation ecosystem. The LevelUP Health & Life Sciences Accelerator is a byproduct of the DRIVE programme, so we are incredibly excited to have two Biocat representatives on one of our meetings.
