Budget

Funding is available up to €20,000 for individual projects. For collaborative projects, funding can reach up to €30,000 per SME. The co-financing rate is 90% of the total eligible budget.

Details

The RESIST II Product Innovation Open Call supports SMEs in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem to redefine and improve their products or services, with the aim of improving environmental performance, lowering carbon emissions, increasing resource efficiency and/or reducing dependencies on critical raw materials across the mobility value chain. The call gives priority to innovative projects aligned with the following pillars: • Net-Zero Manufacturing & Industrial Decarbonisation • Circular Critical Raw Materials & Resource Efficiency • Digital Mobility & Smart Industrial Systems • Resilient Mobility Value Chains Selected projects are expected to achieve measurable results within a 9-month implementation period. In addition to funding, beneficiaries receive a complementary package of services, including technical assistance, access to experts, training courses and internationalisation opportunities in third countries.

Eligibility

The call is open to SMEs operating in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem and located in EU Member States or Single Market Programme associated countries. SMEs can apply individually or in consortium. Consortia may include 2–3 SMEs from different NUTS2 regions.

Additional information

The call is split into two application periods. The first cut-off was launched on May 13, 2026 and remains open for two months, until July 13, 2026. The second cut-off is expected to be launched in May 2027. The evaluation process has three stages: Verification of admissibility and eligibility of applications Evaluation of eligible proposals by at least 3 independent experts, based on the 4 evaluation criteria specified in the Guide for Applicants Validation of the final ranking list by the consortium partners
