Funding rate: 100% coverage through vouchers. Maximum grant amount is 50,000 EUR for sacle up projects. For ideation and commercialisation the maximum is 25,000 EUR.

Key dates and deadline

The call opens on 12 January 2026 and closes on 31 March 2026, with two cut-off dates for evaluation. The first cutoff date is on the 28th of February.

The Fierce 1st Open Call is an initiative aimed at supporting projects that leverage downstream space data to create environmentally impactful solutions. This call seeks to foster innovation in green and digital transitions by providing financial support to eligible projects that can demonstrate technological and societal readiness. Type of projects to be funded: The call supports projects at different stages of technological maturity, including ideation (up to 25,000 EUR), scale-up (up to 50,000 EUR), and commercialisation (up to 25,000 EUR). Each project type has different funding limits and aims, such as research-focused activities or final validation steps. Sectors / domain: The focus is on space-enabled green solutions, targeting improvements in resource management, waste reduction, and environmental monitoring.

Eligibility

The call accepts applications from single entities, including self-employed individuals, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. Start-ups and scale-ups are also eligible. Specific eligibility requirements: Applicants must be legally registered in any EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Countries. Entities under EU restrictive measures or associated with FIERCE partners are ineligible.
