The first methane gas glass factory in Romania was established in 1919 in Mediaş. Through the financial capital invested by S. Kolener, the former director at the time, the foundations of the first modern glass factory in Romania were laid. Thus, on July 16, 1921, with great fanfare, the current glass factory was inaugurated in Mediaş.
The foundations of the Termototal company were laid in the same factory, which today carries forward the experience accumulated over a century in the processing of flat glass, towards new dimensions of architecture.
Today, the Temototal factory has moved to Gherla and is a family business, owned by 4 brothers. Termototal processes any kind of glass for furniture manufacturers, glass doors, interior partitions, interior or exterior glass design, glass structures.
