The past month has been a whirlwind of excitement as we had the privilege of attending multiple outstanding events and conferences. From the future of healthcare to the latest technological advancements, we had the opportunity to explore it all. We are grateful for the invitations extended to us, allowing us to participate in events such as HealthFEST, Cluj Innovation Days, Identicom4, and Techsylvania. Each event brought together industry leaders, visionaries, and forward-thinkers, creating an environment buzzing with innovation and collaboration. Buckle up and join us as we recount our incredible month of events! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗷 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 Cluj Innovation Days is a major annual event dedicated to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship and to forging cross-industry and cross-sector collaborations for the emergence of new business models with societal impact. This edition celebrated 11 years of innovation, 11 years since Cluj IT Cluster was founded and, more importantly, 11 years of hard work and fantastic results for the Romanian business IT and innovation ecosystem which has led to the rebranding of our beloved city. The 11th edition of Cluj Innovation Days took place between 24-26 May, and hosted multiple panels, workshops and conferences. On the last day, Cluj Innovation Days brought together industry leaders, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to discuss the future of HealthTech. Hosted at the BT Campus, this event offered a platform for international discussions on various aspects of health, technology, research, and funding opportunities. Our Department Coordinator, Laviniu Chis had the opportunity to moderate this discussion, alongside Andrei Kelemen, CEO of Cluj IT Cluster. The panel, titled “A new dawn in the health sector @DESIRE Project”, brought together distinguished speakers such as Professor Andreas Bender from the University of Cambridge, Mircea Vădan from Activize, and Ioana Berindan-Neagoe from UMF Iuliu Hațieganu Cluj-Napoca. Their insights and expertise shed light on the exciting advancements happening in the HealthTech sector.
