Why a Hackathon?

Together with GreenLeap and its partners, we offer access to an extensive support network, international expertise, and connections with investors from innovative countries like Belgium, France, and Denmark. We aim to build a strong ecosystem of green/clean startups to drive regional INNOVATION and GROWTH, and to support universities in adopting a more MARKET-ORIENTED approach to research outcomes.

CHALLENGES
Over the course of two days, the teams enrolled in the program focused on identifying and developing solutions for 8 challenges. The first day of the GreenLeap Hackathon kicked off with energy: participants selected their challenges, brainstormed, and sketched out solutions. 💚 Their ideas — from digital platforms for urban gardening communities to solutions that boost visibility for local tourist attractions or turn waste into valuable resources — clearly showed us that sustainability has a future. 🌱 We're glad to have created this space where #greeninnovation enthusiasts met, inspired each other, and started building together. Day two of the GreenLeap Hackathon was all about courage and storytelling. Because every idea has a story — and how you tell it can make all the difference. 💬🌍

Two days of intense work

💚 A big thank you to the mentors who, as always, responded positively to our invitation and provided valuable feedback to the teams. 🌟 Special thanks to RBL Cluj, who provided the prize for the winning teams: 2 tickets to the RBL Cluj Regional Conference — a key event for those interested in business, leadership, and sustainable development. We are confident that the winning participants will fully benefit from this experience. 👏 Congratulations to all the participants for their courage, creativity, and desire to bring real solutions. What’s next? ✨ We continue to develop these ideas, as well as many others, through the GreenLeap incubation and acceleration program. Registrations are still open — so if you have a GREEN idea, it’s time to bring it to life! 💡
